Tori's Name in Re:Connect[]

There have been numerous users editing Tori's name back and forth, back and forth because of the many translations and interpretations it goes through. I added in the Name section for him and laid out all of the ways fans and the game itself and recognized all three of them being correct in their own right. But since many have already become accustomed to "Rurakhan" first, I decided that translation would be used as the default for the article.

If you have anything to add on the name, it is most welcome, but please refrain from constantly changing the spelling of the name to avoid confusion from wiki newcomers and players. STILLATLAST (talk) 00:42, March 14, 2014 (UTC)

Okay, I'm gonna clear something up here: We know the final name is "Huracan", which does most likely indeed relate to the Maya God of wind, Huracan (the only "Huracan" god of wind there is, as far as I know and I doubt they'd make one up) and therefore makes the most sense. The official Japanese version of that name is romanized as "Rurakan" (without the H, because in Japanese H's are never used like that) or "Lulakan" (If you want to apply that R-L rules. However, the R and L get pronounced the same, while R's do not get written as L's in romaji. The pronunciation is the only thing that applies to the rule mentioned in the name section). If you put the Kanji of Huracan into a translator, it will give you Rurakan. Thus, it is as simple as that: The name is Huracan, romanized as Rurakan or Lulakan. The version with the "h" in the name is, even though most well known, incorrect and should not be spread any further, at least if it's supposed to be a Japanese version of the name. I don't see why there was even confusion about that, to be honest. Anyone who knows Japanese even only a bit should know they do not use H's like that in names.

To put in into a nutshell: "Rurakan" = Japanese Name for "Huracan" (the maya god), Rhurakhan = Incorrect for the H, Lulakan = just a different way to write Rurakan. Hope that explains the issue. IRosefeather (talk) 19:21, July 5, 2014 (UTC)
